How to play Cover Your Assets

Cover Your Assets is a set-collecting card game from Grandpa Beck's Games. Players build stacks of matching assets and steal each other's top stack. This page is a free score tracker and a quick guide to scoring.

A round in short

  • Make pairs of matching asset cards and stack them face down in front of you, with the top pair face up.
  • On your turn, make a pair from your hand or with the top discard, or challenge another player for their top stack by playing a matching card.
  • Gold and Silver are wild and can be used to make or win a pair.
  • The round ends when the draw pile is gone and everyone has played out their hand.

Scoring

Add up the value of every card in your stacks. Assets are worth $5,000 to $20,000 each, depending on the card. Silver is worth $25,000 and Gold is worth $50,000.

Winning

Keep playing rounds until someone reaches $1,000,000. If more than one player passes it in the same round, the highest total wins.

Using the score tracker
