Deal & Tally
Herd Mentality is a party game from Big Potato Games for 4 to 20 players. The goal isn't to be right. It's to think like everyone else. This page is a free score tracker with built-in questions, so you can play even without the cards.
A round
- One player reads a question, like "Name a pizza topping."
- Everyone secretly writes an answer, then everyone reveals.
- Find the most popular answer. Everyone who wrote it gets a cow.
The Pink Cow
- If exactly one player wrote an answer nobody else did, they take the Pink Cow.
- If more than one player is the odd one out, nobody takes it.
- While you hold the Pink Cow, you can keep collecting cows, but you can't win. It only moves when someone else is the lone odd one out.
Even split
If answers are evenly split with no single most popular one, nobody scores that round.
Winning
The first player to 8 cows without the Pink Cow wins. If two players reach 8 in the same round, keep going until one is a full cow ahead.
Using the score tracker
Tap New question if you want one. After the reveal, tap everyone in the herd and, if there was one, the lone odd one out. Deal & Tally hands out the cows, moves the Pink Cow and calls the winner.
